Nature Bound Kids OT is committed to excellence and expertise in our nature-based therapy services for children. We are proud to be Certified Nature-Based Pediatric Therapists™.

 

Certified therapists have completed advanced training in nature-based pediatric therapy and have access to ongoing mentoring in the ConTiGO (Connection & Transformation in the Great Outdoors) Approach™ - an evidence-based framework for best practice in pediatric nature-based therapy.

A Peek Inside
Our Sessions

  • Gather & Connect – Welcome and check-in
     

  • Hike In – Build endurance, coordination, and social interaction as we travel to our outdoor space
     

  • Snack & Settle– Time to refuel, connect with peers, and practice independence skills
     

  • Child-Led Play & Exploration – Guided by therapists, children follow their curiosity, imagination, and interests through meaningful outdoor experiences
     

  • Individualized Skill Building – Informed by each child's unique goals, therapists guide play, social interactions, and group activities that foster connection and growth.
     

  • Clean Up & Reflect – Practice responsibility, teamwork, and executive functioning skills
     

  • Hike Out – End the session with movement, conversation, and transition routines
